The Charlie’s story begins in 1978 with a truck and three guys who thought they could do better. They were smart, hard-working and had a passion for produce. They had some ideas about how they could raise the bar on quality, inventory and the logistics of how produce moves from where it’s grown to where it’s enjoyed.

Today, with innovation and technology woven into everything we do, Charlie’s has evolved into an independent, full-service produce company focused on sourcing an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables from local growers whenever possible and supplying to our retail and foodservice customers. We do this by cultivating strong, lasting partnerships and searching for new possibilities in the industry to help everyone achieve their full potential. We are proud to play a vital role in the farm-to-fork journey with relationships, sustainability and forward-thinking as our driving forces.
